One of the first videos I began adding animated text and motion graphics/animation.
Genuinely the most fun I had editing a video, I spent a long time putting together a bunch of clips with music and sound effects.
I was the videographer and editor for the NonFunGerbils at NFC Summit in Lisbon 2024, editing the video to match music and love how it turned out.
Having spent the longest time editing, this is my most favorite video I've produced so far.

On August 4, 2015, I began creating video content for my own YouTube channel, including long form video, live streams and vertical looping shorts with a focus on games, vlogs and reactions. Davinci Resolve is my video editing software of choice and I am self-taught by experimenting, playing around and the occasional online tutorial. In addition to my own videos, I have edited and produced videos for NonFunGerbils, Token Smart and I provide live stream services for The WIP Meetup. It would be my pleasure to edit videos for you as well.

All the original gerbil images can be found at nonfungerbils.com/gerbils and you can view the
animation with the Artivive app from there.

On August 16, 2020, the NonFunGerbils announced their Animate A Gerbil competition asking for anyone to take one of their gerbil images (created by Lydia Jean) and bring it to life. Having never dabbled in animation beyond a frame-by-frame school project over a decade earlier, I decided to take a stab at it. After choosing a gerbil image, I began cutting parts out, recreating the image behind those parts, importing them into Vegas Pro and adding movement. I won the competition and they've since commissioned me to animate 20+ more gerbils.

On December 1st, 2020, I was asked to take on the podcast editing for both the Token Smart podcast and the Matthew and Rizzle Show, both weekly shows, though the Token Smart podcast no longer runs. In November 2023, NonFunGerbils asked me to help out with editing their podcasts as well, running with a longer stretch between episodes. My process typically involves adjusting the EQ for speakers, applying a compressor to cap volume, normalizing the audio to cut down spikes and removing/cleaning up background and other unwanted noise.

When our server became compromised, Nathan helped us to identify and remove the active threats and subsequently helped us restore, cleanup and harden our server by performing a full audit advising many changes to be made regarding permissions. Since then, we've kept Nathan as a secondary admin where he helps us prevent & remove spam accounts and messages.
