Doctor Who Series 9, Episode 9, "Sleep No More," delivers a chilling found-footage horror show, and my reaction video is live! This episode swaps the usual Doctor Who vibe for something truly unsettling, proving sleep is never just a nap.
The Doctor and Clara land on the Le Verrier space station in the 38th century, where the crew has vanished. Joined by a rescue team, they uncover the Morpheus pods, creepy tech that condenses sleep into five minutes but spawns Sandmen-monsters made of sleep dust from human eyes. These things hunt survivors, taking out crew like Deep-Ando. Professor Rasmussen's video logs seem to guide the story, but they hide a sinister plan to spread the Sandmen's dust signal to other systems. The found-footage style amps up the dread, and the episode's ambiguous ending left me stunned. No tidy resolution here, just pure chaos.
This episode's eerie format and Sandmen threat make it a standout. I was hooked by the creepy visuals and Rasmussen's twist. My reaction dives into every shock, from the Sandmen's attacks to the unsettling close.
